Challenge

A food ecommerce store needed help optimizing their existing PPC campaigns on Facebook and Google and were spending about $9000 per month. The issue was that their current ads weren't converting effectively and they were seeing an average of return on ad spend (ROAS) to be less than 1.0.

Solution

Our team helped restructure the Google and Facebook Ads accounts to eliminate areas where money was wasted and focus on campaigns that had historical success. Upon analyzing their current activities there was a big opportunity to implement an email and SMS strategy as well as offer a subscription based model to increase retention, CLV and reduce cart abandonment. We also implemented a multi pillar marketing approach to expand on other sites such as Pinterest, Snapchat, TikTok, and Bing ads which drove positive results and higher ROI with the same ad spend

Results

Within 30 days of optimizing their Google and Facebook/Instagram Ads, there was increase engagement without increasing their ad spend

While continuing to make optimizations, within 3 months we were able to bring the Google Ads ROAS from .85x to 4.0x and Facebook Ads from ROAS .75x to 4.3x.

Additionally, the new subscription-based purchasing model significantly increased the average client lifetime value by 250%.
