Menture works with businesses generating between $750K and $10M in annual revenue. The sweet spot is $1.5M–$5M — large enough to support a professional General Manager, small enough that institutional PE isn't competing for the deal. Below $750K, the economics of GM placement become difficult. Above $10M, contact us — we evaluate selectively.
No. Menture operates across two structures. The Acquisition Track involves Menture purchasing a controlling interest at closing. The Stake Track allows you to retain majority ownership throughout the engagement — Menture takes a small equity position in exchange for full operating services and a success fee at exit. Both tracks end with an exit, but on different timelines and ownership terms.
The Phase A Assessment is a four-week, structured evaluation covering your financial health, operational readiness, and acquisition positioning across 20 scored dimensions. The deliverable is a complete report — not a pitch for our services. It tells you where you stand, what needs to improve, what your business is realistically worth today versus what it could command after optimization, and which track (Acquisition or Stake) fits your situation. The fee is $3,500–5,000 and is applied toward the first month of engagement if you proceed.
From Phase A Assessment through final exit, most engagements run 18 to 36 months. Phase A takes four weeks. Phase B — GM placement and owner transition — takes two to four months. Phase C is the steady-state optimization and exit build period, which runs until the business is relisted and sold. Once relisted, most Menture-prepared businesses close within 90–120 days.
Yes — and this is precisely the situation Menture is designed for. A business that has failed to sell almost always has at least one of three problems: it's too dependent on the owner, the financials don't tell a compelling story, or there's documentation and risk factors that kill buyer confidence. The Phase A Assessment will identify which and give you a clear path to fixing them.
Menture works with brokers as a preferred buyer and deal flow partner. If you have a listing that hasn't closed after 9–12 months, reach out. We move fast, we're decisive, and we're designed to complete transactions that conventional buyers walk away from. Brokers receive a referral fee on closed acquisitions. We also work with brokers to identify acquisition-ready businesses from active listing networks.
Yes. Menture is actively building the fund and evaluating LP commitments. The full Investor Deck — including fund structure, economics, financial models, and the complete operating methodology — is available to qualified accredited investors following a brief qualification call and NDA. Minimum commitment is $500K. Use the Investor inquiry path on this page to begin the conversation.
